Can't print to shared printer
A small network with about 15 PCs running XP, Vista and 7. Most of the shared printers are running ok. One PC running 7 32bit is not able to print to a shared printer connected directly to PC running 7 64bit. There are other PCs with 7 32bit and all printing ok. I tried adding printer manually, no go. I tried several solution I found online, no go. I even reformatted the PC, same thing. It's only this PC is having problem. I have another PC which is the same model, and it can print to the printer just fine. Any possible solution to this? The only thing I haven't tried is changing the sub switch.

Hi, it is not needed to change the switch, just try to exchanged cables in ports of the switch. Try to connect the PC Win7 32bit (...not able to print ...) to the port on the switch that uses a computer with printing OK (.....another PC which is the same model, and it can print to the printer just fine ....) . Next what you can try - did you try to run - "Safe mode with networking" on PC Win7 32bit (...not able to print ...) if not, can you try it: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode Does it do the same problems in this mode?LC
