Can't ping Vista systems
I have several Vista and XP systems on a Server 2008 domain. I can ping any of the XP systems from any of the other systems. I can ping the DC from any of the other systems. I cannot ping a Vista system from any other system (except itself). Static IPs are in place. My switches don't do IPv6, so I disabled it via GPO. Seemed to be effective as ipconfig on the workstations comes up without the IPv6 info (which was there before). When I go to the Network shortcut, all of the systems on the network show up. I have no problem accessing shares on the DC. I tried switching the Client for Microsoft Networks setting to "Windows Locator", but my change doesn't stick and it switches back to a blank entry. Any ideas?
