Can't open attachments
I have Windows XP, Outlook Express 6 and Internet Explorer 8. When I get an email with an attachment, and try to open the attachment, I get a CLUNK noise and a box that says: "This file does not have a program associated with it to perform this action. Create an association in the Folder Options Control Panel." I can't find the Folder Options Control Panel. Where is it? And when I find it, how do I "create an association"?1 person needs an answerI do too

What is the file extension of the attachment? There may be a different and better way to do it. Window + E Key | Tools | Folder Options | File Types will get you where you're asking.Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]
