Can't really tell. You need to report more details, e.g. What tool you use to open a folder. Windows Explorer? What message(s) you see on the screen.Which folder you're trying to open. Please quote one specific example. If a reboot fixes the problem permanently. If it does, what is the purpose of your post?

Report what happens.

Pls see below Click the Start globe, then type the three letters cmd and press the Enter key. (done) Type the word explorer.exe and press the Enter key. (no response - Explorer didnt start, i just see in task manager explorer process start but no action It appears that your Windows installation has suffered some serious damage. The damage could have been invisible before but installing the Office 10 Service Pack made it visible, causing explorer.exe to malfunction. I can see these options for you: Do not install the service pack. Maybe the damage is such that Windows still functions more or less to your satisfaction.Use an image you created some time ago bring Windows back to a healthy state.Perform a destructive Factory Restore.
