Can't login to windows
My computer uses Windows 7. When logging into my user account, having entered the correct username and password, it brings a message of the kind "The relationship between username and the primary domain is not correct". What could be the problem? When the network cable is removed the problem goes.

I take it that this computer is ordinarily connected to a domain. I guess that either the active directory object for this computer has become corrupted, or the machine has been disconnected from the domain for some time. I would suggest 1. Login in with the network cable disconnected. 2. Make sure you know what the local Admin (although it may not be called Admin) login is for the machine, resetting the password in Local Users And Groups if necessary, and testing that you are able to login locally before continuing. 2. Connect the network cable. 3. Disconnect the computer from the domain by setting it back to workgroup, and reboot. 4. Login as the local Admin. 5. Join back to the domain.Alan Moseley
