Hi i have windows 8.1 and some time ago i switched from my microsoft account to offline account on my laptop..for the past few days i've been trying to log in with the microsoft account and i can't..I get to the point where i put the code that microsoft sent me on my phone and then nothing.

I would suggest you to perform system restore and check if it helps.

Follow these steps :

1. Boot into the Recovery mode using Windows 8 recovery/installation disc.
2. Once selecting your language, time and keyboard settings, click Next to load the next window, then click on the Repair your computer link on the bottom left corner of the window.
3. You should then be presented with a Choose an Option screen, with Troubleshoot as an option to select.
4. In the Troubleshoot screen, select Advanced options.
5. Select System Restore from the Advanced options screen and follow the instruction.

System Restore doesnt change your personal files, but it might remove recently installed apps and drivers.

I don't have the disc because windows were already installed when I bought the laptop. Is there any other way to do this without it?

Now your problem is forget where the verifying code was sent to, isn't it? If that it is, you can login Live.com with this Microsoft Account through browser, then access to security settings and choose more security settings to check your bound mail or phone information.
