Can't get Gateway 5310x to plug and play ANY network adapter after FRESH install of Vista OR Windows 7

Hi, I would like to confirm what happens to the built-in network card. I have checked it on Gateway website using the Serial NO. It seems that this computer does not support Windows Vista and Windows 7 because there is no driver for them. Only Windows XP, 2000 and 98 drivers are available. So this issue occurs because these devices are not fully compatible with the Motherboard. Given this situation, I suggest contacting Gateway to confirm it first. Hope it helps.Vivian Xing - MSFT
