Can't gain back control of my network, computer
This is a crazy situation I am about to describe. A friend of mine used to help out with my computers, printers, anything technical for over 2 years. He's very good at it. When I wouldn't proceed with "friendship" in the way he fancied, I began to experience a lot of headaches. He had total access and I was very naive. He is so integrated into my technical world....he had downloaded a ton of things after downloading uTorrent on my computer. My ISP cancelled me because of copyright infringement. Somehow, he made me think it was one of my kids who did something wrong. I went and got a Verizon MiFi. Then he did some terribly immature things (there is a 15 year age difference) and I forbade him to come back. He hacked into my gmail and sent an email to someone whom he thought I was dating. I can't prove it though. I could no longer get web access on my cell phone; it would say "DNS: unspecified host. He had set up a network off my MIFI and my data charges are through the roof. He hacked into my Verizon Wireless online at one time, changed the password and changed features. I am entitled Administrator on my laptop and desktop, but there are a ton of things that I have no access to. The software that I didn't want on, I would delete - it would be right back on. He changed the credentials on my laptop so that and staged for me to experience all kinds of problems on a certain date. The Verizon representative took a look at the cell phone and could not explain its current state. He was technically savvy, and said, "He somehow reversed the IP address." I found that he was queuing my messages so he could review everything first. I changed my cell phone number. Verizon has been helpful in that they have offered me some credits because they see the spike as well, but they told me to call the police immediately and keep them informed. I called the police but I have to have proof in order for him to be approached. After changing my phone number, I was able to get my data package working again. I was sorting through some apps and found one called Watchdog where a parent could monitor if a specific number, perhaps someone you didn't know or didn't want them being around, called their cell phone, an alert would come to my phone. I wanted to just check it out, so I put my new phone number to register and it was already in their system as being a child, being monitored by a parent (it was another one of the verizon phone numbers I have). Apparently, when I got the new number, it automatically updated in this application. So he had been monitoring all my calls for a long time. Sorry for the length, but I'm at my wits end. How do I nail him?Julie Higgins

You will need to find another tech savy person to help you. You may want to start checking your credit reports and other personal accounts as it seems he has full access to everything that is you. It seems you have a serious legal issue here.
