Can't disable password prompt upon waking monitor from sleep
So everytime my screensaver comes on and I come back to wake up the monitor I get the user account password prompt. I am running Windows XP home on a dual boot Macbook Pro. I have the Owner administrator account and a personal use account for security while browsing that is set to Power User. Regardless of which account I'm in, if the the monitor goes to sleep, upon waking I have to reenter a password, which is painfully annoying. I have the "Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby" option unchecked under the Advanced tab of the Power Options panel in the Control Panel. I have my power scheme set to Always on while plugged in. I also have my user accounts set to fast user switching. At this point I'm wondering whether having the standard access user account is overkill. Maybe I should do all my work on the Owner account while at home? If anyone can help, that would be lovely. Thanks.1 person got this answerI do too

The setting you are adjusting is for standby. Right click in a free space on your desktop > properties > Screensaver tab. Uncheck the box for password prompt. Great, thanks! That did it. Although, it took several attempts at scanning reading that panel to actual see that check box. For some reason I just kept missing it. But now all is good. And I am less annoyed. Thanks.
