Can't delete unwanted video, trustedinstaller permission
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I opened up Windows Media Player in Windows 7 today and there were about 20 or 30 random videos that I did not download. Most of them they were backgrounds. I tried to delelte them and it said I did not have permission from trusted installer. First; how did they get there. Second how can I get rid of them, or maybe I shold ask IF I should get rid of them. Did they arrive through a virus?

Hi, Right click the music and click open the file location, try to delete them from its location. However, the most possible cause is that your computer get virus infected, please update the security software and perform a full scan. Try to take ownership of these files, then delete them again. To take ownership of the file, you can refer to the following site: How to take ownership of a file or a folder The above article which is originally written for Windows XP also applies to Windows 7.
