I have Windows XP Home. My Live Mail was corrupted so I need to re-install it, however when I tried to remove "Live Essential" in control panel it does not remove it, the screen just flash and then it's still there. How do I remove it so that I can do a clean re-install of Live mail? Thanks1 person needs an answerI do too

Try Revo Uninstaller . This is an excellent free program. Just be careful using it.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

Hi,
Thank you for your response! I installed Rvo Uninstaller Pro and ran the unintall on 'Live Essentials', however it pointed me to the Registry file folder to manually select the one to uninstall (a long list), and I do have Live Messenger that I do not want to mess with, therefore the program is not very usefull and I have to stop the process. Also prior to that I have already use regedit.exe to remove registry entries for 'Live Mail'. Any other suggestion?

Already tried to re-install, it would not re-install because installer stated I already have Live Mail installed. I guess I have no choice but to de-install everything include my Messenger.
