Can't connect to wireless or internet
At the command prompt, when I type in "ipconfig". Here's the message I got: "An internal error occurred: A device attached to the system is not functioning. Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services for further help. Additional information: Unknown media status code." I have checked to make sure that TCP/IP is installed. I've also spent 2 fruitless hours on the phone with Linksys to see if there was a problem with the router (the wireless is running in our house, but our computers are not networked). I think the router is OK, as I have 3 other laptops that seem to work fine. The computer is an IBM Lenovo Thinkpad. I bought it refurbished on eBay. The seller claims that he tested wireless at his office, and it worked fine but has offered to ship me a new wireless card if I can't resolve the problem myself. 1 person needs an answerI do too
