Can't connect to the internet wirelessly (Limited Connectivity only)
I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 notebook running windows vista. I have a D-Link DIR-615 wireless router. I was using it for about a year now with no problems ever connecting to the internet and I had the network saved so it automatically connected. But due to what i assume was a virus i had to do a system recovery on my computer which fixed all the problems I had but now I have a new one. Originally when I tried to get back on to the internet wirelessly It would pop up "Additional log on information needed" which involved 2 different usernames and a password that I didnt have on record. So to get around that I went in and manually added the network to my network and sharing center using my admin password. But now its connecting to my network but with only limited connectivity and also when I scroll over the icon on the bottom of the screen it says "Unidentified Network" (Illsley's)-which is the name of my network. When I go into wireless network connection status it reads: IPv4 Connectivity-limited IPv6 Connectivity-limited Media state-Enabled SSID-Illsleys Speed-54.0 Mbps Signal Quality- Full Bars Under activity it says Packets: Sent-111 Recieved 0 In network properties it says my SSID again and Network Type:Access Point and Network Availability:All Users In Security it says Security Type-No Authentication(open) Encryption type:WEP My network Security Key and my key index as 1 Thank you for you help in advance (Hopefully) and if you need further info let me know.
