I'm running Windows 8.1 preview and can't seem to connect to internet from the Metro interface using a corporate proxy. When running Windows 8 pro I could connect using this method:

netsh
winhttp
import proxy source=ie

This method does not seem to work using Win 8.1 preview. Note: the proxy server does not require authentication. I've tried to configure the proxy using the new settings interface, and still no luck. Configuring the proxy for the desktop works fine though.

How do I set up my proxy in Metro?

Edit: oke, after a reboot it seems to work.. This means that each time I need to alter proxy settings, I have to restart my system. I hope Microsoft fixes this, because this is quite a nuisance..
