Can't browse an Active directory Network
I have a laptop that I installed Windows 7 on. Its awesome! But I need to be able to connect to an active directory domain when I bring it tow work. I have the ethernet port set with the right WINS info for the network but when I go to search the network I don't see anything. The same computer with the same settings(ip 4, WINS) using my vista partition sees the network without a problem. Does Windows 7 do things differently? Is there a trick? Thanks!

Make sure that the DNS info is complete, so that you point to your AD DNS servers- WINS isn't going to be super important to AD.Ned Pyle [MSFT] - MS Enterprise Platforms Support - Beta Team
