Can't access shared network resources from Windows Vista
Hello! We have 200 computers in domain network some have Windows XP, but most have Windows Vista. Few days ago we got problem with accessing network resources from all Windows Vista computers . Facts: When opening Network I can see other computers, but can't access them, password is asked but sometimes i can access resources with admin or target PC user pswd. Shared printer on other computers can't be accessed Windows XP users don't have such issues , they even can access Windows Vista shared resources. All computers can access internet ; I've tried to turn off/on Firewall; Tried to install SP2, and all critical updates are up to date; Checked for viruses... well no deep research but still...; Tried to turn off/on Network Discovery/shares, etc; Every machine can be pinged so np with it; Windows XP users can access Active Directory (private disc on server), Windows Vista users can't. Server specifics: Windows 2003. Windows Vista specifics: Some have SP1, some SP2 How to solve this problem? Maybe it's issue with server?

Hi there, Did you find a solution to this problem? We have an issue where after changing an IP address on one of our 2K3 servers, none of our Vista machines can connect to the server. Our XP machines are fine, and our Vista machines can ping the server by IP or name, but can't access any shares or RDP into the machine. Other servers work fine. Cheers, Bob
