Can't access network computers
When trying to access my computer from my computer through the network I get the error message: \\<COMPUTERNAME> is not accessible. You might not have permission to access this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The specified network provider name is invalid."I am the administrator on this computer. I tried flushing the DNS, rebooting my router, deleting generic credentials, resetting the windows firewall to default policies, and disabled/renabled network discovery and file sharing, but none of that seemed to fix the problem.Anyone know what could be causing this?

I am assuming that all the computers are in the same workgroup.Nevertheless, do you have the Windows7 system in a HomeGroup? If so take it out of the HomeGroup. If you do then only other sytems running Windows 7 andsome versions of Vista(also in a HomeGroup) can network with each other.GA P35 DQ6 Mb, Intel Wolfdale 8600 3.33Ghz C2D CPU., 4x2Gb Mushkin DDR2 1066 PC2 8500 Ascents Memory Mods., PNY-nVidia GE Force 8800 GTS (640MB), 4-Western Digital Caviar SATA(2) HDD's (internal), 1 EIDE-USB External; Hauppauge PVR 1600 TV tuner, Dual Monitor: STANDARD up top for standing up and getting stuff done; 24" WIDESCREEN below for kicking back, layin on the floor, watchin TV and playing around; Altec Lansing Speakers.
