Can't access folders and files over network.
As of the 12th of December 2010 I have been unable to access other computers on my home network or any other networks. I usually access hard drives on other computers over my wireless network with this laptop computer but are unable to do so now. Other computers can access this one fine. When I go to network and click on another computer (Also Running windows 7), I get the following error: Windows cannot access \\Computer Error Code: 0x80070035 The network path was not found. I proceed by clicking Diagnose but it finds no problem. There had been no updates or software installed that could have cause a change to the system and caused the problem. I had made no changes to the system at all. I can't find any reason for this sudden problem. I access my other computer and the internet with a wireless internet router (bigpond wireless 7.2 home network gateway) but this is not the source of the problem. The problem is present at another location as well. I can access the internet fine wirelessly though. Network Discovery, File and print sharing and Public folder sharing are on on all computers. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Service Pack 1, v.178 Microsoft Security Essentials acer 5536 I'm not sure what posibly has gone on here. Seems like it might be a firewall problem but I still have the problem when I turn Windows Firewall off. I recon something has been corrupted. Any help?

Hi, First of all, since this issue did not occur before, we can try System Restore to get back to a previous status before this issue occurred. If the issue still persists, we could try the following steps to check the issue: 1. Try to access network drive by IP address. 2. Boot into Safe Mode with networking to check the result. 3. Check the following services: · Workstation · Server · TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Hope it helps.
