Can't access a Nobody file
I allowed someone remotely to enter my computer...but I locked up a few files when they did. I panicked and did not write down the password, thinking that I was the administrator and therefore could access them. I CAN NOT....they are very important files (tax info) and I need to get into them as the IRS is penalizing my sister as they are her tax info. I pray someone can at least tell me who and where to go for help in this manner. Thank you so much, Jami

How do you lock the files? What do you mean by “I panicked and did not write down the password”? If you do not have permission for the files, please log on Safe Mode with the Administrator account. Then change the permission settings of the files to enable your account to access them. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
