I am dual booting with Vista and Windows 7 on seperate HDD's. The problem I am having is that the HDD on which my Vista is loaded is not accessble to Windows 7.To show a screenshot of what is happening, please refer to the images below. FromWindows 7"Right-Click" on the Vista partition and choose "Change Drive Letter and Paths". On the next window choose "Add" then select a drive letter to assign to the partition.

Thanks, but I suppose that this will be fixed in the final release so that it will correctly assign the drive letter.

I believe that this is done by design. If you did not have Vista installed on the other drive, it would have automatically had a drive letter.

You will need to assign a drive letter to your Vista drive in order for Windows7 to see it. I believe this is now by default. The idea is to prevent clutter in Windows Explorer. Yopu may also have noticed, if you have a card reader that the reader drives also are not displayed in Windows Explorer (although they are displayed in Computer). Again this is by default. Be disgn -mmm... Ok, but the thing I don't understand is. I can't access the drive if it hasn't got a drive letter assigned. With regards to card readers, it sounds great, but for me it doesn't really work for HDD's. I suppose I should just get used to it...Thanks guys!
