Can't Connect To Domain
Ihave a laptop running windows vista premium, it is currently connected to the LAN and can ping the server (it can ever remote connect to the server) and I have tried to add the vista computer to the Windows Server 2003 Domain. I have set up the domain and everything, set up a username and password, even added the laptop on the server end to the domain, but I can seem to add the laptop to the domain on the server end. I go into 'System Properties' and click 'Change Settings' and then typed in the domain name, it then asks for a username and password, i have tried to use my laptops username and password, i have tried to use the administrator's account i set up on the server. Then ERROR:... An Attempt to resolve the DNS name of a DC in the domain being joined has failed. Please verify this client is configured to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS names in the target domain. Whats wrong???
