Can't Access my FTP server thru windows explorer
I am trying to access FTP thru windows explorer and when I do I get the following FTP folder Error Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder. Details: The data area passed to a system call is too small. I have typed it correctly and I have administrative rights to this computer. I am trying to access our ftp server here at work. Before windows 7 I could just type in the address in windows explorer and the user & password box would come up allowing me to sign into the ftp server. Everyone else in the office can access our ftp server in that way. I am trying to use a 3rd party program called Sync2 by 4Team that uses an ftp server to sync my outlook file between multiple computers and it is also not able to access our ftp server. It worked before when I had vista, and 4Team say that it was also developed to work on Win 7. But since the first issue is not being able to access the FTP Server thru Win Exp., I feel that the root of the problem is in my computer. Just not sure what is set wrong on my computer to keep it from working.

1. FTP server is on local network or behind firewall? 2. Try to disable local firewall on your Windows 7. 3. You can catch the network traffic with network monitor. This way you can troubleshoot your access to FTP. Regards Milos
