Could someone please explain the Call Flow between LYNC internal user to the Federated domain user[A/V call]

Eg: A Regular employee who belongs to the company  jeff@zeus.com who is sitting in the office tries to communicate with the federated user victor@dell.com.

Below are needed.

1.Call flow/Media flow path

2.Protocols & Ports involved

3.Logical units involved

Am looking for standard federation -Domain to Domain pairing. [Call flow needed for this-Both signalling and media]

Not the "provider".
