Calculator: Simple Improvement Suggestion
What was that number again...? We've all been there- Either balancing the bank account or working with an app, suddenly you find the need to use windows calculator. How convenient! No digging through an old desk drawer or worse, fumbling with a cell phone calc. Simple, now, back to the application/web browser...What was that number again? I didn't think to memorize it! Of course I didn't possess enough forthought to resize windows to keep the calculator visible when I switch back.Usually the situation results in a passing moment of unrest as one realizes we could have been "done" a few seconds earlier. How about modifiying the calculator to include a (default) option to force the calculator "display" always on top, and click-drag movable (click the taskbar or a radio button to bring the full UI back). It's the little things some people may not discover for six months: "Oh I like that!"

Hi, I managed (with a lot of help from No.Compromise, a friendly person on one of these forums) to start Calculator and having it on top all the time.I can still minimize it to the taskbar. When I bring it back on screen, it remains on top of everything else again. - I had to add a file "nircmd.exe" to the Windows folder- And I had to make a simple .bat file with Calculator.exe in it. I it is really simple to do and it works absolutely great. Interested ?Let me know and I'll write all the details down in hereYou can also have a look at this thread : http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itproperf/thread/1150a924-62e9-44f2-be6a-68980e29610e Regards Picsoe
