CYCBOT.B
My (now former) IT was installing a wireless printer and removed the firewalls. He neglected to remove the network from the net. Now getting the following with MSE: Win32/CYCBOT.B and with SpyBot: CoolWWSearch.olehelp. Ran MSE (which had been updated earlier in the day) and continue to receive warning messages even after telling MSE to remove the program. History shows multiple remove or quaranteen. SpyBot also having issues removing CoolWWSearch.olehelp. Did a search and went to LiveOneCare Safety Center and let it run overnight. Found multiple prolems/4 issues plus registry errors. I had the program do it's thing and was told registry was fixed, problems seemed to be corrected but only 1 issue fixed and then program locked up. Rerunning LiveOneCare finds issues and problems again while MSE continues to show Win32/CYCBOT.B which I continue to tell it to remove (it presents the green, completed box) System is running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Data on the machine includes video interview with now deceased native elders for PhD thesis. There are backups, however work done over the weekend, including transcription of interviews are needed to be pulled. Antivirus is MSE, updated daily and run every 2-3 days. Spybot also is updated as they become available and run every other day. Any way to remove this (these) issue(s)? Or at least be able to recover data prior to any major repair (reformat, reinstall, etc)?
