What did you use to determine that the computer is clean? Please take a look at these steps to see if you were that thorough. If you weren't that thorough, you know what your next steps are. http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

I ran SuperAntiSpyware,Microsoft Essentials,Windows protection-tuneup-cleanup. I will have to print out your instructions and try them. And get back to you with what I found. Thanks

What is "Windows protection-tuneup-cleanup"? That indicates something amiss to me. It is either a rogue security program and therefore malware or it is one of those dubious "registry cleaners/optimizers" that so often break Windows. Can you provide a link to the product? http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=28099 - registry cleaner thread http://lifehacker.com/5482701/whats-the-registry-should-i-clean-it-and-whats-the-point MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

I check my dates on "restore" and it was Windows live. I will try and find it again. Or should I just restore to a date for I did all the turn up stuff?

Yes, probably you should try the System Restore and not use the Windows Live cleanup again. Read the information at the links I already gave you about "cleaners".MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

Something is fishy.......My last Restore date is Feb. 22,2010...........It should go back alot further. Could that be when my computer hit with some virius?/ trojan?

Honestly, I can't answer those questions. You say you've already done all kinds of scanning. I don't know why you don't have a more recent System Restore date and can't really know the state of your computer without looking at it. There is just so much one can do in a forum regarding support on a computer one can't see. SMTP is the protocol used for sending email. The port it uses depends on what your email provider wants. Most email providers have blocked the old "normal" SMTP port 25 and use something else. Port 80 is for web traffic so you would want that open. You may want to go through the scanning procedures I suggest even though you've already done some scanning just to see if you were that thorough, especially about the preparatory work. http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware If the machine is clean, you can run the free Process Monitor utility to see what is taking up your processing power. You can get AutoRuns at the same link and that is also a very useful troubleshooting tool. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/default.mspxMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

I checked my windows update history. And it goes back to Sept 09 when a service tech uninstalled windows and reinstalled windows because couldn't find anything so he tried that. so my Windows seem more up to date then my Restore?

Please see my previous answer to you. That's really all I can say without seeing the machine. Sorry.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

My CPU issue seems to be with Microsoft Sercurity Essentials. It won't run has a error message with code 0x80070715 for me to reinstall from the webpage. But I can't get it to uninstall or install over what I have. Says its running but its not. Did the take off any other security programs computer says the only one is MSE Won't uninstall from Add/remove either..........
