CODEJO~2.OCX
I am getting this error while running a program.
modMain:Main
Component 'CODEJO~2.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registers: a file is missing or invalid
Not sure what the problem is, i have googled and everything i have read says that it is a DLL problem, lots of downloads to add/replace but i do not trust them.
Any information on this to help me resolve the issue would be great.
Thanks in advance!

Judging from what I see on the internet you do not want this file - it's probably malware.
Please download and install Malwarebytes Anti-malware (free version) www.malwarebytes.org and update it, and run a full scan (DO NOT enable the Real-Time protection option!) in your main account, and Quick scans in any other user accounts.
Delete everything it finds

That is what i figured from all that I seen available.
The computer I am using is at my workplace and they have Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection running, should I still download, I should be already protected? Just curious before I download and install.
Thanks

No one security protection is perfect.
You may not have rights to install anything on your machine if it's a work one - contact your system administrator for advice.

I suspect that the reason that it was untagged was that what you are actually complaining about is in another post.
The post that has been tagged as an answer was, I assume, tagged as such because it met MS's definition of a correct answer to the poster's problem - i.e that they should seek assistancefrom their sysadmin to ensure that they conform to their company's protocols
in respect of installed software, and the the Sysadmin could/should check the machine rather than the user.

WIthout more detail as to the source and FULL name of the file concerned, I stand by my initial statement.
There are any number of malware files which mimic the names of legitimate software files - and a proper installation would not give such messages.
This is a pointless discussion - which I do not intend to pursue.Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi |
