CNG Key Isolation service: Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified
Wireless service stopped running. When checking why I discovered that the CNG Key Isolation service path could not be found by Windows 7 64bit system. How can I recover this service.

Hi, Thanks for the post! Did it work before? Did you fully scan your computer? The CNG key isolation service is hosted in the LSA process. The service provides key process isolation to private keys and associated cryptographic operations as required by the Common Criteria. The service stores and uses long-lived keys in a secure process complying with Common Criteria requirements. You can do a System Restore to the time point when the computer works normally. Please start the command prompt (cmd.exe) with admin rights [1] and run sfc [2]: sfc.exe /scannow Is it able to find and repair broken files? Are you now able to start the Wireless service? best regards André [1] http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/How-do-I-run-an-application-once-with-a-full-administrator-access-token [2] http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 "A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/
