CNBJ2530.DPB Hash mismatch (Windows 8/8.1)

Hash mismatch
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-performance/hash-mismatch/08ef49a6-84e8-47ad-bd69-48b829d495c9

BUT... Two days later I encountered the same problem again.
http://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/7702-guide-cnbj2530-dpb-and-prncacla-inf-corruptions-windows-8-8-1-a-post81479.html#post81479

Can anyone tell me why this same corruption keeps coming back?

Microsoft fix your bug...

Since it involves Printer support perhaps it is the OEM providers who are more at fault?   <eg>

C.f. there is a discussion of this on the last comment page of a joscon blog post...

Hi OveDR,

What is the exact issue you are facing ,would you please explain more details of the issue ?Have you got any errors or warnings about the machine ?

As far as I am concerned ,the hash value is used to check the health of the files .It is calculated based on the files with a mathematical algorithm like the SHA-1 ,MD5 , so on and it is irreversible. If the files are modified ,we will get a notification the hash mismatch.

Best regards

.................InsertRange!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Are you implying that you think a mod was made in the wrong language?

BTW does the CBS.log show how the mod was made?  E.g. perhaps an EN-US update was applied incorrectly to your OS?

FWIW I would try to use ProcMon to supplement whatever is going on.  E.g. clues in the CBS.log are really only good if you have access to the source or support documentation.

Also, before and after your repro procedure it may help to do this PowerShell pipeline, in case it captures something interesting

PS C:\Windows> LS -Re -Fi "CNBJ2*.DPB" | sort Name, LastWriteTime | ft Length, FullName -AutoSize

Note that I am giving a pattern to try to match more than one file name in case that helps show how things changed.  Use an Administrator: Windows PowerShell window to minimize the amount of warnings.  They could be suppressed but they could be clues as well, so let's leave them on.

wrong language?  fix your bug...

English instead of Chinese.  But that would be giving the benefit of doubt that that those words were actually intended to be seen via that module.  Otherwise what is the problem symptom?

It's not my bug.  I'm not even interested enough in it to try reproducing it for you.  I've given you my suggestions for trying to refine your symptom description.
