CLEANUP ANTIVIRUS KEEPS LOCKING UP MY COMPUTER
I keep getting a pop from cleanup antivirus that locks up my computer and kicks me off the internet. The only way to temporary unlock it is to open the pop-up whick goes to a full screen with sign up fees. I can close that window only to have the popup come back in 10-20 minutes. I have tried to delete the program but it keeps comming back wanting money to be signed up. File search came up with cmd.exe and cleanupantivirus.com in between lock ups. It all started on 4-6-2010. I had to go back to march 1, 2010 and use restore. It seems to help. Was able to run microsoft safety scanner. Is cleanup anitivirus a microsoft program and how do I get rid of it. Have Windows Home XP with Microsoft Version 5.1 with Service Pack 3... 1 person needs an answerI do too
