Hello, We have a Windows 7 Pro system that CHKDSk will not run at startup. How do we correct this problem? Thanks, Nick Nick V. Kosmas

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum. In addition, try to install the following hotfix to check how it works: The Chkdsk.exe program does not start correctly on a Windows 7-based computer Hope it helps. Ditto. I've got the problem, too. Win7 Pro, service pack 1. I've tried all the suggestions included in all of the comments, and links, listed above. Including the hotfix (which apparently didn't apply to my system.) Doesn't seem to matter how I schedule chkdsk, it never runs.
