CHKDSK
Each time I start my system (Win 7/64) CHKDSK runs on the system segment of my C: drive, or on my C drive itself. Never finds a problem. Hoe do I stop this?

This may work, click the Windows Orb (Start) > All Programs > Accessories and right-click Command Prompt, then ‘Run as Administrator’, now type CHKNTFS /D (the capitals are for clarity only) and press Enter.

Hi, I would like to suggest you perform the following steps to check the issue. Disable AUTO CHKDSK ================= 1. Click the “Start” button, “All Programs” and “Accessories”. 2. Right click "Command Prompt" and choose "Run as administrator", accept the UAC prompt. 3. In the "Command Prompt", type the following commands and press Enter after each line. chkntfs /x c: Note: If you have 2 drive, C and D, you can disable chkdsk with the command below. chkntfs /x c: d: Regards, Arthur Li - MSFT
