CDROM Drive Not Accessible
Hi, I have a domain name and every computer (almost 50) and users are listed in active directory. About a week before when i tried to attach usb on one of the laptop (having windows 7 pro attached with domain), it is showing the icon but when i hit to enter it comes with following message with Location is not available, Title: Location is not available, Message F: is not accessible, Access is denied. This happened after I created a gpo to block removable items due to security reasons to did a test run and it works - fine. I then remove the this policy but this time only usb drives can be accessible but not the cdrom/dvd drives. Administrator users can access but to the others. Any solutions? Kir By

Solved! Simply uninstall the device from computer management on every individual pc and reinstall. Cheers, k
