CAPI2 error on windows 7 machine causing certificate while opening mail websites like Hotmail.com & Yahoo.com
HI, I'm still facing the same issue on my windows 7 PC. When i enabled CAPI2 logging and checked the description it shows me the process DWM.exe is causing the issue. Even after running the fix it i still see the issue. More over when i open websites like hotmail.com or yahoo.com i still see a certificate error. Not sure why or which cached certificate does the Desktop Windows Manager hold. This also causes my Itunes application to fail and Windows update to fail as well. Have followed the below steps Once the Command Prompt window is open type the following command and press enter. certutil -urlcache * delete Type the following and hit enter: psexec -i -s cmd.exe A new Command Prompt window should open, from here type the following command again and hit enter: certutil -urlcache * delete I see the issue using multiple browsers on my machine including IE. I downloaded and installed the cab file http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/authrootstl.cab bugt still luck. I had this issue earlier and i had to run a clean install to after which it i never saw the issue, Until now as it appeared all of a sudden. Can anyone help me out on this.
