Bypass the welcome or log in page on start up.
My wife and I are the only users for our computer. We use a common User Account. Why do we need to be bothered with the Welcome or the Log In page? Is there a way to bypass this procedure?1 person needs an answerI do too

Open a Run window (Windows Logo key+R), type “control userpasswords2” (type the space but not the quotes) and press Enter. Remove the tick from “Users must enter a username and password” > OK. You may have to type the user account name and password just the once to complete the process. Also, make sure you are both administrators. Using “control userpasswords2” again, click your name > Properties > Group Membership Tab > Other and, if you’re not an administrator, make yourself one.

Then uncheck the box "Users must enter auser name and password to use this computer."Or do the same thing with TweakUI.Ken Blake (MS MVP)
