Occured in Windows 7 RC1 64 bit: in windows explorer, go to Desktop, then select a folder in the right pane, and delete with Shift+Delete Desktop icon in the left pane is deleted, and never restored. The folder is not deleted. If Desktop is selected from the address bar, then nothing is selected on the left pane (since desktop icon is gonne)
