Broadcom wireless issues in Win 7
I have an eMachines E732Z Laptop. Wireless connectivity has been very poor indeed with frequent drops. Other machines performed well with the same router.
I obtained better connectivity by doing the following:
Win + Pause, Device Manager, Network Adaptors, Broadcon 802.11n Network Adapter, Advanced, Rate. Set to 24 or thereabouts.
The connection now appears to be stable.
Hope this works for you two....
