Broadcasts and multicasts does not works in Vista
How to disable features in Vista to enable behavior like in Windows XP with broadcasts packages? Application which run on Vista does not receive broadcast packages. I tested it with Microsoft Loopback Adapter and in network with Cisco Router. All the time have same result one of thousands packages could be received by application. I found discussion in MSDN developers forum and developers there have similar problem there. They found that Vista has IGMPv3 and Windows XP IGMPv2 which does not block multicast and broadcast packages. P.S. I'm cannot go back to Windows XP because of hardware compatibility but sometimes I want to do that.
