Broadband dongle cannot establish a connection
I have been using a '3' Broadband dongle without a problem for many months. Recently I had a virus and cleared it out. Now I find the dongle gets a signal as usual, and the 3 software says 'Ready to Connect', but when I try to connect it says it "cannot establish a connection - check your settings". I have investigated and wonder if the problem lies in the Remote Access Connection Manager service not starting as it should? When I try to start it, it won't start? This service reports a path to executable as "C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs" but I can't find this in that folder? Can anyone advise please?1 person needs an answerI do too
