Broadband connection error 797 Modem Not Found
Trying to setup a broadband connection from Windows 7 laptop. Getting error 797: Modem not found. The same connection working fine from a Windows XP desktop. Propmt help appreciated.

Hi, Thanks for the post! Please make sure your network interface drivers are up to date and compatible with Windows 7. Then you can try the following: · Close all other programs and try again to establish the connection. Another program might be using the modem or the communication port to which the modem is attached. · Make sure that a modem has been installed on your computer. If the issue persists, please try Clean Boot to find the cause.
