Exactly what sort of device is the "USB modem"? You can only bridge devices if they both appear in the GUI as network adapters.Bill

Hi, We still would like to know the network topology and the devices brand and model. After getting this information, we will perform some further researches. Meanwhile, I would like to share the following document with you: Using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) For the USB Modem, I suspect you may not have Windows 7 driver; therefore, please go to the manufactures site and see if there is a new driver released, or just try the driver you have with Compatibility Mode. I'm stuck with the same problem. I would like to share my 3G internet connection via wireless router. I'm using Huawei E220 3G modem and Linksys WRT54GL wireless router. Both local Ethernet connection (router) and internet connection (modem) are displayed in Network Connections, but I can not bridge them (options is not available in context menu if I select both connections and right click them). What should I do? Thanks in advance for all the replies!
