Booting windows on tablet OEM windows 8.1 with bing
Hello,
I have recently bought Prestigio device, but have stumbled upon a problem. The issue is, that there was an error in my system, hence my windows are now corrupted. I can't recover the data, becouse the restore partition, that was responsible for back up files(including windows) was corrupted. My idea was to reinstall the windows 8.1 using legal version of windows that I have, but I cant seem to boot the windows ISO, even though I made my USB stick bootable(tried apps "Rufus" and original Windows USB tool from Microsoft.

I tried to boot windows from UEFI shell ( tried to map all the possible partitions with command "map" ) , but had no success. (when going, for example, into blk0: ; writing : "ls", error was displayed : "no file exists"

Device's name: Prestigio Visconte 3

I am really exhausted tried to solve this problem and would appreaciate help,

Your device is covered under warranty, and warranty services are offered by the manufacturer/reseller, contact them for assistance. (that's why you paid all that money, to include warranty, right?)

Looks like you were trying to use UNIX commands?   <eg>

Try using  diskpart  instead?

Hi,

Above all I cannot confirm if the tablet could boot with USB - this could be a device limitation so it is still recommended to contact OEM for this issue.

Also what's the original operation system on it? You may also need to confirm if Windows 8.1 is available for the tablet.

Specifically if the recovery partition is corrupt, Prestigio should provide a solution to help get it back to work.
