installed windows 7 in new partion works all fine until I boot back into vista and then want to go back to windows 7.It does not show in the boot menu and I cant get to it anymore.Why is that?RM

I had the same issue at first. The way I resolved it was torestart my pc with the win7 install disc in the dvd player. upon reboot, I booted using the dvd. I then selected install win7, at the language,keboard promp, i selected next, then at the lower left of the screen, I chose repair. The system then created a new boot manager

For some reason it appears that Windows 7 hasn't been added to the bootloader menu. I also dual boot but haven't had this problem. Windows 7 installed and when the machine rebooted both Vista and Windows 7 were on the boot menu.Two options:1/ You can attempt a startup repair by booting from the Windows 7 DVD, let Win 7 copy files to the hard drive (as if you were doing a complete install) then select the language and when the install screen comes up instead of selecting install, click the option to 'repair your computer' The link from my website describes how this is done in Vista, Windows 7 however is the same.http://vistasupport.mvps.org/vista_dvd_repair_your_computer_options.htm2/ Alternatively you could download VistaBootPro (www.vistabootpro.org) and install it on vista.
