Boot up security screen
I have a computer that used to be on a network where I used to work. It has a "Security Warning" that show up before login and as it is no longer part of that company, I'd like to remove it.
Is this in BIOS or is there a registry setting I need to change.
Please point me in the right direction1 person needs an answerI do too

Your two questions today are related.
Do you have a local administrator username and password
for your machine?
Do you know whether you are logging in using domain
credentials, or local credentials?
In properties of My Computer, is the computer shown as
part of a domain?
In order to properly extricate yourself from the no
longer existing domain, you need to have local administrator credentials, and
you will probably have to back up your profile, using the files and settings
transfer tool, then create a new (local) user and restore the settings using
that same tool.
What email application do you use? Is there a
large collection of email messages that you need to be sure are transferred
between users?
There's a simple answer to the precise question that
you've posed:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows/disable-that-annoying-windows-logon-warning-message/
but the continued display of that message may indicate a
problem that is a bit more complex to fix properly.
