Hi, First, please make sure that the chipset (motherboard) driver and BIOS are up-to-date. Please perform Windows Update to test the issue. Also, please refer to the following similar issue to check if it helps: Bluetooth Peripheral Driver not found Regards, Sabrina This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. thanks for the help. I did go to my devices and printers right clicked on the properties, did not see anything for 'services' but did see all the adapters listed and it said 'this device cannot start (code 10)' when I clicked on update driver for each, windows told me they are all updated, but still have that message. I don't know where to go from here to see why they cannot start. HELP this is so frustrating.Jill Jolley

The reason you can't find the driver on Microsoft's website is because you need the Dell drivers and Dell's drivers are located on the Dell website. Microsoft does not provide support for third party hardware! http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?os=W732&catid=-1&dateid=-1&impid=-1&osl=EN&typeid=-1&formatid=-1&servicetag=&SystemID=INSPIRON1545&hidos=WLH&hidlang=en&TabIndex=&scanSupported=False&scanConsent=False for Dell Inspiron 1545 drivers. The first logical place to look for any hardware driver is the manufacxturer's website! Microsoft does not write drivers for third party hardware and they are not the host for those third party drivers! Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Unfortunately the Code 10 is vague and does not provde any troubleshooting assistance at all. The device might not be able to start for numeerous reason; IRQ conflict, software conflict, hardware failure, software corruption, etc. I had a situation where I got the Code 10 for a wireless card in my Dell 1501. I finally gave up, replaced the card and everything worked fine. No idea what was really the problem since the card worked fine in a different laptop. Hi, I think this can be related with the Hardware compatibility issues. You may check this issue with the manufacturer support. You may refer to the following KB article to check if it helps: Description of Code 10-related errors that Device Manager generates in Windows-based computers Regards, Sabrina This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Apparently you have a problem reading. There are no Windows 7 drivers for the Dell Inspiron 1525 on this website. This is a Microsoft website not a Dell website!! If there were Windows 7 drivers they would be posted on the Dell website @ https://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&ServiceTag=&SystemID=INS_PNT_PM_1525&os=WLH&osl=en&catid=&impid= You need to go to the Dell Community forums for your problem and discuss the situation there: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/default.aspxPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
