Bluetooth not showing up in control panel - drivers installed
I had my machine replace and the hard disk from my old machine was placed into a new (and identical) machine. Everything works except bluetooth. I tried reinstalling the bluetooth drivers and they show up fine in the device manager. However
searching for bluetooth in the control panel shows nothing. I'm unable to add an new devices via the icon in the notification bar - clicking Add device will find not bluetooth devices, search for bluetooth devices runs eternally, and the open bluetooth settings
opens nothing. I tried unintsalling the drivers from the device manager and on reboot they are automatically reinstalled by windows. any advice of more things to try?

Hi,
First, please ensure the chipset (motherboard) driver is up-to-date.
After that, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot your issue: 1. Try uninstalling any
Bluetooth
software in "Programs and Features"(Click on Start, Control Panel -> Programs and Features).
2. Next check
Device Manager and uninstall the
Bluetooth
devices there too.
3. Reboot and see what happens. The "Found Hardware Wizard" should reinstall the
Bluetooth
devices, hopefully fixing your problem.
You may also visit your
Bluetooth
devices manufacturers websites and download the driver software and install them. Check if that helps you.
