Bluetooth Microsoft Mouse 5000
The mouse doesn't work after a week use on both my machines (netbook Samsung Win 7 ultimate and Dell Latitude D630 Win 7 Enterprise). I bring it back to the shop because it doesn't work on 2 machines and get a new one. Same problem. Mouse is visible in device manager. I uninstalled the HID-compliant mouse and rescan the laptop. Mouse entry comes back, but doesn't work. Bluetooth service works with the correct account (Local system)

Does the issue occur on two different computers? If so, it is better to contact the Microsoft Hardware Support directly to see if the mouse is corrupted. To contact them, please click HERE. Besides, you can remove the batteries from the mouse and then reinstall the batteries to see if it works. In the meantime, you can also refer to the suggestions in this knowledge base (KB) article to check the result: Connect a Bluetooth device that does not have or require a transceiver Regards, Linda
