Bluetooth Hotfix for Win 7 SP1 x64 says this hotfix not applicable to your system, Bluetooth does not work properly upon restart of computer
Hello: I am having a problem with Bluetooth - it works fine after device discovery. However, it does not work upon restart of computer - the device needs to be deleted and rediscovered to get it to work again. I saw and downloaded the hotfix at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980396 but upon attempting to install it, I get that it is not applicable to my system. I need this bluetooth to work - do you have a suggestion or workaround at this time? Thank you, David Glick

Hi David, Please understand if the hotfix includes in Service Pack 1, it cannot be installed any more. Regarding your Bluetooth issue, please let me know when the issue occurred? Did you received any error message when the device didn't work. What device you used? I suggest loading the latest Bluetooth device driver and install it manually or update Bluetooth modern on your computer. Also disable any security software and perform a Clean Boot to check if it is affected by third party software. If the issue persists, please update all computer device drivers and BIOS as well.
