Bluescreen errors on windows 7 64 bit.
I am having bluescreen errors on my new computers that I just bought. Happens 4 times in 5 days. While playing video game on my computer. I have checked all the drivers are they are updated for the computer. Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3 Locale ID: 4105 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: 1e BCP1: 0000000000000000 BCP2: 0000000000000000 BCP3: 0000000000000000 BCP4: 0000000000000000 OS Version: 6_1_7600 Service Pack: 0_0 Product: 768_1 Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\060310-23790-01.dmp C:\Users\Marc\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-31871-0.sysdata.xml Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288&clcid=0x0409 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt http://cid-6aa4ae4deb28e3d0.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/060310-23790-01.dmp

You reported details of bugcheck 0x1e - KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED - and would seem to be about all that can be determined at this point because the four parameters are null. Did you recently add or remove any hardware or software? How many computers is this happening on? Is the BCCode always the same? The other dump files may have more information - the dump file you provided did not provide the values for the parameters, which is strange and may be indicative of some kind of corruption. Can you upload the rest of the files in c:\windows\minidump to your SkyDrive? Looks like a DEP violation trying to execute a bogus kernel mode address - 0x00000000312b08e0. It may be interesting to see what happens if you disable these drivers, to check the behavior (they're related to the NEC USB 3.0 component): nusb3hub.sys 1/21/2010 nusb3xhc.sys 1/21/2010 General guidance for dealing with bluescreens: Consider running chkdsk on all partitions. Let chkdsk complete on each partition and see if that helps. Also consider running SFC /SCANNOW. It can be helpful to use Driver Verifier. To enable Driver Verifier... start->verifier.exe->OK->Create standard settings- >Next->select driver names from a list->Next->sort by Provider->select all non-Microsoft drivers->Finish, and OK your way out of the dialog. Then, reboot and use the system as you normally would, and wait for a problem. In the event that the system does not boot completely after enabling driver verifier, boot into Safe Mode and run driver verifier, and tell it to delete the changes. Wait for a bugcheck to occur after enabling verifier as described, and then upload it. If you boot into safe mode, do you still experience bugchecks? What about if you do a clean boot , or device clean boot ? Consider testing memory with Windows Memory Diagnostic or memtest86. Note that memory that passes tests is not necessarily good memory - it just hasn't failed a test. Consider systematically eliminating RAM from the system - run with a couple of modules for a while, and see how things go. Then try the other modules. Other common suggestions include ensuring drivers are up to date (including video drivers), as well as ensuring that you're using the latest BIOS.

download my fibonacci program, if the machine is dodgy it definitely will find that out Vote if answered or helpful, I am running for Office (joke)! IT/Developer, Windows/Linux/Mainframe Need a some parts finish the new server, see the site for remaining items needed

The latest dump shows a bugcheck very similar to the initial one you posted about - a DEP violation trying to execute code at 0000000031079c8a. Verifier was enabled, but did not pick anything up. Can you run systempropertiesadvanced.exe, and in the Startup and Recovery settings ensure the system is set up to generate a Kernel memory dump? If not please configure it to do so. If so, check the timestamp on c:\windows\memory.dmp - if it matches a recent bugcheck, please ZIP the file into multiple parts and upload each part to your SkyDrive. The hope is that the kernel memory dump will have more details about what is going on, than the triage dumps hold. Have you checked the behavior in safe mode or with a clean boot? Have you considered disabling the previously mentioned drivers to check the behavior?

Use my Fibonacci program and see if the CPU survives, watch the temps on it too. If it seems to screw up, back off on the clock a bit. Vote if answered or helpful, I am running for Office (joke)! Please try "normal-clocking" the CPU and see if the bugchecks stop (don't just "back off" - run it to spec).

I have an Asus P6X58D Premium on Windows 7 64 bit with an NEC USB 3.0 controller.. I to would get random BSOD, mostly on booting and would see the nusb3hub.sys in the message. This happens with no overclock. Disabling the device has fixed the issue. I did notice a firmware update and driver update on Asus download section but yet to try, no 3.0 devices mainstream so why bother...

Is your NEC USB card one of those new PCIe x1 cards or is it on the motherboard?Vote if answered or helpful, I am running for Office (joke)! IT/Developer, Windows/Linux/Mainframe Need a some parts finish the new server, see the site for remaining items needed

I have P6x58D-E and experiencing the same problems with USB 3.0. I got the computer 2 weeks ago, seems that all drivers and firmware are latest according to ASUS site, I am running on Windows 7 64 bit. Nothing helped; I cannot use the USB 3.0 port with the external RAID storage I bought. Whenever I start using the USB 3.0 port, the OS crashes. When I connect it to an USB 2.0 port it works fine (and much slower) By the way, it does not produce a BSOD, Windows just restarts immediately. Changing this option in windows control panel did not help. After many trial and error I can say that it is only related to the USB 3.0 port. Did anyone here have a solution?
