Blue screen error
Hi , I get blue screen errors whenever I install ne updates , and they happen when my laptop tries to restart so the updates can take effect . It hangs on the shutdown screen for a long time , then I get the blue screen , then it shuts down , and then it tells me that windows was not shutdown properly and asks me to choose how I want to startup windows . Then , action center looks for a way to solve the issue , and then just closes after a minute . Action center never fixed the problem because I'm still having it . I am running windows 7 home premium sp1 on a lenovo ideapad z470 series . No new hardware , no big software installed , and it's almost about a year old . This is what action center told me about the problem : Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: 1000009f BCP1: 0000000000000004 BCP2: 0000000000000258 BCP3: FFFFFA8006A02B50 BCP4: FFFFF8000505D3D0 OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 768_1 Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\051212-24008-01.dmp C:\Users\Berserker\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-46098-0.sysdata.xml Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=104288&clcid=0x0409 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt

Hi, Firstly, please refer to Bug Check 0x9F: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE for troubleshooting. Meanwhile, please try the following: 1. Please boot into Clean Boot Mode and see how it works. 2. Please update all the drivers that are associated with the FTDI Chip to the latest and see how it works. If issue persists, you can upload your dump file to SkyDrive for analyzing. Hope this helps.
